Superheroes don't always wear capes....
What a beautiful sight! BRAWS teen council organized a very grassroots drive in March. Walking around their neighborhoods, preteen and teen volunteers collected hundreds of pads, tampons, underwear and bras to be donated to clients in need.
These girls are standing up for women and girls in our community - providing them with the items that are so important (and often forgotten)... Sending the message: WE CARE!
Thank you to Jordan Rice for dedicating her time to organizing this project, as well as parents Cassie and Kavita, for their support!
